Frequently asked questions

Who signs the returns?

Your firm does. We prepare; your CPA reviews and signs as the paid preparer. CPA review from our side is available at $95 an hour if you want an extra check.

Will you contact our clients?

No. We work under your firm’s name and never contact your clients unless you set that up deliberately.

What is section 7216 consent and do we need it?

Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code restricts how tax return information is used and disclosed. When that information is handled outside the US, the taxpayer’s written consent is generally required first. We provide a consent template to help your firm obtain it.

How do we start?

With a 30-day paid pilot on 3 to 5 clients at rate-card prices, so you can check quality and turnaround before committing to more volume.

Is there a long-term contract?

Not on Partner Starter, which is pay as you go. Partner Growth has a $3,000 monthly minimum, and Partner Enterprise runs on a 12-month term.

White-label services are preparation and bookkeeping support delivered under your firm’s direction. Your firm keeps responsibility for client engagement, review and signing. Prices are in US dollars, are starting rates for standard work, and exclude any software licences your firm provides. Complex engagements are quoted before work starts.
